Len Bayliss 2 Commando
Lance Sergeant Len Bayliss, 3 Troop, was in Lt. John Roderick's Assault Party on HMS Campbeltown during the raid on St Nazaire. He was wounded during the raid and became a prisoner of war. Initially imprisoned at a temporary camp near Rennes, before being transported to Stalag 344 Lamsdorf, Poland.
