Marine Kenneth Morgan was wounded 22 January 1944 when 40RM Commando were being used to reinforce the infantry line held along the River Garigliano near Lorenzo, Italy. He was treated in 65 General Hospital before evacuation to the UK. Marine Morgan died of his wounds on 11 June 1944 at Banstead Military Hospital, Sutton, Surrey. Son of Cyril and Jennie Morgan, of Stanmore.
