John Jamieson 7 Commando
Private John Jamieson, 'B' Company of the 1st Bn., Liverpool Scottish, volunteered for the Commandos and was attached to No.7 Commando. 
31 January 1941 departed for the Middle East as 'A' Battalion of Layforce.

2 June 1941 reported missing during operations at Crete, later found to be a prisoner of war.
