Private John Riley was reported missing 14 July 1943 during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge), later confirmed died of wounds. He has no known grave. Son of Thomas and Caroline Riley; husband of Lilian Riley, of Aston, Warwickshire.
