TSM John Charles Davies 46 Commando
Troop Sergeant Major John Davies, 'Y' troop, died in Germany. His Commando were engaged in operations at the River Aller near Hademstorf where he was originally buried before being re-interred at Becklingen on 21 August 1946. Mentioned in Despatches for good service with the 21st Army Group. Previously served in 'X' Troop. Son of John and Annie Davies, of Warrington, Lancashire; husband of Marjorie Davies, of Warrington.
