Extract from Commando Association newsletter 25 (1957)
It is felt that many members will be interested in the following paragraph from a letter received recently from Lieut. John Bennett (47 Cdo) of the Old Rectory, Barnold-by-le-Beck, Waltham, Lincs. " I am still running a fleet of trawlers from Grimsby, and make the offer that if anybody wishes to go back to a spot of Commando life for a spell, that I should be only too glad to arrange a three-week trip to the Arctic Regions'. I recommend the summer."
