Local Roll of Honour: 
Bombardier James Dane died when he fell over a cliff while on operations against dissident tribesmen whilst deployed to Aden. He was serving with 2nd Bn., Parachute Regiment at the time. Buried Silent Valley Cemetery later reinterred to Dundalk.
