Lance Sergeant Jack Crabtree, No.6 Commando, was wounded 22 March 1945 (remaining on duty). No.6 Commando were engaged in clearing the Rhine- Maas triangle and the crossing of the River Rhine at this time. Previously served No.12 Commando until disbanded 1943. Post war member of the Commando Association from Blackpool.
