Lance Corporal 'Jack' Jones from Tuebrook, Liverpool, was reported missing 2 June 1941 during operations in Crete later found to be a prisoner of war having been captured the previous day. Enlisted 12 January 1940, civil occupation - Tanners Sole Leather Machine Operator. Member of the Commando Association.
