Lance Corporal Jack Allan was wounded on 3 February 1944 during operations in Italy (Monte Faito and Monte Ornito). He was wounded again on 19 March 1944. This time his Commando were engaged in an operation in the wadis near the Anzio beachhead.
Post war member of the Commando Association from Palmers Green, London.
