Served with 30 Commando from 1943 to 1945. Awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for gallantry, skill, determination and undaunted devotion to duty during the landing of Allied Forces on the coast of Normandy. 1945-6 in charge of the Forward Interrogation Unit in Hamburg, Germany.
Post war member of the Commando Association from Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire.
