Fusilier Hilary Clarke, died during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the Bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge).
A serving Metropolitan Police Officer he volunteered as one of the Police Intakes to the Commandos. In 1939 he was a Police Constable residing at 19 Fielding Road, West Holland Park, London.
