Henry Beverley Thow, a Glazier and Painter from Ayr, Scotland, enlisted 29 August 1939. Volunteered for Special Service and attached to No.7 Commando. Embarked for the Middle East with Layforce. Bombardier Thow was reported missing, later confirmed prisoner of war 1 June 1941, during operations at Crete.
