Henry William Hill 40RM Commando
Sergeant Henry Hill, a veteran of the Dieppe raid, died during operations at Lake Comacchio, Italy. He received a Mention in Despatches for "gallant and distinguished service while operating with the Army in Italy." Son of Henry William and Mary Alice Hill; husband of Annie Hill, of Normanton, Derbyshire.
