Lance Corporal Henry Edwards collapsed and died whilst walking in Falmouth where he was billeted with the Commando. He had previously reported headaches. An open verdict was recorded at the Inquest by Mr. J.L. Carlyon, District Coroner at Falmouth, his death being due to coma following cerebral hemorrhage resulting from a muffled blow, and acute alcoholic poisoning. He had a fracture at the base of his skull. Son of Henry E. Edwards and Martha Edwards.
