Clifford Hemp 3 Commando
Clifford Reginald Hemp, a Joiner/ Carpenter from Norfolk, enlisted into the Royal Engineers on 10 February 1941. He transferred to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps on 22 December 1941, later joining the R.E.M.E. Craftsman Hemp attached to 6 Troop No.3 Commando was wounded 28 February 1945 during operations in Western Europe. Previously wounded 10 June 1944 at Normandy, France.
