Private Harold Kendray was wounded during operations at Normandy, France.
Post war member of the Commando Association from Thornaby Teesside. They list his rank as Lance Sergeant. In 1939 he was 18 and an apprentice printer living with his family in Thornaby. His Father was a retired Police Inspector.
