Private Gerrard Slavin was reported missing believed wounded 6 December 1942 during operations in North Africa (Operation Bizerte), later presumed died of wounds. He has no known grave. Son of James Slavin, and of Annie Slavin (nee Ward), of Rosyth, Fife.
