George Dickinson 6 Commando
Lance Corporal Dickinson was wounded during operations with No.6 Commando in North Africa on 6 January 1943. During this period his Commando were in the Djebel Azzag (Sedjenane) area of Tunisia. He had also been wounded on 18 May 1940 serving with 2nd Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, as part of the British Expeditionary Force in France.
Enlisted 10 May 1938.
Reserve List 1 July 1946.
