George Henry Abraham from Bexleyheath, Kent, enlisted 4 September 1940 later volunteering for the Commandos. Private Abraham, No.3 Commando, was wounded 14 July 1943 during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the Bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge).
- 7 June 1944 wounded and missing during operations at Normandy, later found to be a prisoner of war.
- Post war member of the Commando Association from Bideford, Devon.
