Frederick Thomas Northover enlisted into the Royal Marines on 7 July 1942, having previously been employed in a Butchers. Corporal Northover serving with 46RM Commando, 'B' Troop, was captured during operations at Rots and Le Hamel, Normandy on 11 June 1944. After his liberation he resided at Nunhead, London.
