Cemetery/Memorial: 
Lance Corporal Frederick Toms was killed in action during operations on 12 January 1945 at Kangaw, Burma. Son of Arthur and Rose Toms, of Leytonstone, Essex. The previous year he had been wounded on 15 March 1944 at Maungdaw, Burma. Frederick Toms was first attested into the Royal Artillery in 1933. He transferred to the Royal Fusiliers Territorial Army Reserve on 23 March 1938.
