Felix Henry Taylor was attested into the Royal Artillery on 8 January 1936. He later volunteered for the Commandos and was attached to No.11 Commando. Embarked for the Middle East as 'C' Bn., Layforce. Sergeant Taylor was wounded 9 June 1941 during operations at Litani River, Syria. Transferred to the Royal Engineers on 8 October 1942.
