Corporal Edward Rushton, 'F' Troop, was wounded in North West Europe in 1944.
In 1939 Edward Gordon Rushton was a was a Police Constable residing at 12 Crabtree Street, Colne, Lancashire. He volunteered for the Commandos in 1942 and was posted to the 2nd Police Intake at the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre) at Achnacarry. After completing his commando training he was posted to No.4 Commando.
