Lance Corporal George Carrick, 3 troop, died [1] during operations on 13 September 1943 at Dragone Hill, Salerno, Italy, where he was initially buried (Map ref 602409) [2].
A serving Police Officer he had volunteered as one of the Police Intakes, and in 1939 was a Police Constable residing at 93 Parker Street, Colne, Lancashire [3][4][5].
