Captain David Angus was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry, zeal and skill during the attack on Sarande and the seizure of the Island of Solta.
 
The death of Captain Angus MC of St. Ninian, Stirling, was announced in Commando Association newsletter 98 issued March 1994.
