S.Lt. Colin Haslett was attached to 'C' or Charlie section [view record] of the Royal Naval Beach Commandos at the time of his death. Son of James Ross Haslett and Ethel Margaret Haslett, of Greenisland, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.The date of his death is that of the date of Operation Jubilee at Dieppe in which Charlie section lost a considerable number of Officers and men, the sub-unit 'C' 2 having to be replaced in toto [2].
