Lance Corporal Brian Mullen died of wounds during operations at Normandy. A talented artist and photographer LCpl Mullen had previously taken part in the Lofoten and Dieppe raids. Son of Patrick Joseph and Elsie Maud Mullen; husband of Janet Edith Mullen, of Matlock Bath, Derbyshire.
