Cemetery/Memorial: 
Lieutenant Bertram Peter Hill died on 28 May 1944 of wounds received on 27 May 1944 during operations in the Dalmatian Islands. His death is reported on the Naval History website as being caused by an explosion. Burial service 29 May 1944 at Vis Naval Cemetery. Later re-interred Belgrade War Cemetery. He had been previously wounded 23 January 1944 returning to duty 4 days later.
