Post war Albert was active in organising the Lancashire reunions for the original Commando Association in the 1950's. Christina Orr adds "Albert O’Hare, was my Mom’s youngest brother. He married Aunt Anne who is now 93. When he died a few years ago he had a beautiful soldier’s funeral and his ashes were taken up to Spean Bridge to be scattered around the Commando Memorial overlooking the Cairngorms where he did his training."
