Andrew Lithgow Woods, employed as a Grocer and residing in Ibrox, Glasgow, enlisted into the Royal Marines on 4 June 1942. Marine Woods, 40RM Commando, was wounded 3 June 1944 and a prisoner of war during an operation at Brac Island (former Yugoslavia).
