Tommy Carroll RM (43RM Cdo)
Joined the Royal Marines at Exmouth on 17 April 1941. Served in 43RM Commando in Italy and Yugoslavia from its formation in July 1943 until 20 August 1944. Left the Commando for medical reasons (injuries to his feet) and posted to HMS Byrsa, Naples Port Naval Party. Medically discharged August 1946. Emigrated Toronto, Canada.
