No.3 Independent Company formed from 54th East Anglian Division. Part of Scissors Force, a section of the British Expedition to Norway in May 1940.
Private Leslie Kerlogue died during operations in Norway (Scissors Force). Son of Bertie and Edith Kerlogue; husband of Muriel Joan Kerlogue, of Dovercourt, Essex.
- 22 May 1940 wounded serving in No.3 Independent Company during operations with the North Western Expeditionary Force in Norway (Scissors Force).

William James Turney enlisted as a Private into the 6th Beds and Herts Bn., TA on the 29th January 1940 and was quickly promoted Acting Lance Corporal. He volunteered for the Independent Companies (Ind. Coy.) and on the 26th April 1940 was attached to No 3 Ind. Coy.
