October 1944 North West Europe wounded, remains at duty (burns to forehead). Served 'Y' Troop 41RM Commando. Married Margaret Buchanan. They had 2 children (a son and a daughter), 3 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Member of the Commando Association.
