Private John Coulson served in 5 Troop before transferring to the HQ of No.2 Commando. Final rank attained Lance Corporal.
John Richard Coulson was a Police Constable in 1939, single, and residing at 54 Bold Street, Fleetwod, Lancashire, close to the local Police Station. His mother lived in Southport. He volunteered for the commandos in 1942 and joined the 2nd Police Intake at the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre), Achnacarry. Post war member of the Commando Association last known residing Liverpool.
