Corporal Frank Arnold from Histon, Cambridge, was wounded 13 September 1943 during operations at Salerno, Italy [1][2].
Frank Arnold was a Regular Soldier, former civil occupation Shop Assistant. Whilst No.2 Commando were in Ayr he served in 'B' Section, No.4 Sub-Section of 5 Troop and was billeted at 33 Marchmont Road, Ayr [2]. Member of the No.2 Commando Boxing Team [3].
