- 27 December 1941 (Lance Sergeant) (4 Troop) wounded during Operation Archery at Vaagso, Norway [4].
- 14 July 1943 (Sergeant) (4 Troop) wounded during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the bridge at Malati (3 Commando bridge) [5].
- 17 July 1944 to Pioneer Corps [1].
