Marine Leonard Baker 45RM Commando

Marine Leonard Baker died at sea during operations at Normandy, France. Adopted son of William and Lavina Daffern; husband of Lilian Baker, of Bedworth, Warwickshire. Father to a nine month old son. Educated at Hartshill School. Employed as a bricklayer before joining the Armed Forces.
