Kurt Meyer, a German national, was killed in action at Normandy, France. He was of the Jewish Faith and a member of 3 troop, also known as 'X' troop, of the inter allied commando, serving under an alias of Peter Moody. At the time of his death he was temporarily attached to HQ 4 Special Service Brigade. Son of Fritz Max Meyer and Margeretta Meyer, of Birmingham.
