Lawrence Ernest Page, a Joiners Apprentice from Cricklewood, London, enlisted into the Royal Marines at Lympstone on 20 August 1942. His service with the Commandos commenced on 1 September 1943 when he was posted to 44RM Commando 'A' Troop. Theatre of operations was the Far East (India and Burma) forming part of 3 Special Service (Commando) Brigade.

17.12.1942 posted 1st RM Mobile Company, RM Division.
