Thomas Geering, a Labourer from Warrington, enlisted into the Armed Forces on 12 February 1942 and later volunteered for the Commandos. Private Geering, No.4 Commando, was reported missing 10 August 1944 during operations at Normandy, France, later confirmed prisoner of war. Liberated 1945. Member of the Commando Association.
