George Graham Huddlestone resided in 1939 with his wife Frances at 10 Albert Road, Ilford, Essex. He was employed in the Butcher trade prior to enlisting into the Royal Artillery and later volunteered for the Commandos. Bombardier Huddlestone, No.6 Commando, was wounded 10 June 1944 during operations at Normandy, France. Final rank in the Commandos recorded in the Commando newsletter obituary was Sergeant. 30 October 1951 transferred to the Royal Engineers. Member of the Commando Association residing Washingborough, Lincolnshire.
