Leslie Ernest Longhurst Tuffin, warrant number 125116, joined the Metropolitan Police on 6 July 1936, and left on 31 July 1938. Last posted to R Division as a PC [1]. In 1939 Leslie Tuffin was a City of London Police Constable, warrant number 9370, single, and serving at the Police Station in Cloak Lane, Cannon Street [2][4].
