Company Quartermaster Sergeant James Mason, Expeditionary Force East Africa, contracted a fatal illness whilst engaged in East Africa as a Physical Training Instructor for the indigenous troops there. Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Mason, husband of Letitia Mason, of Wishaw, Lanarkshire.
