Fusilier William Harris, No.5 Independent Company, was reported wounded and missing, later presumed died of wounds, during operations in Norway (Scissors Force). He has no known grave. Son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harris; husband of Rose Harris, of Duncan, British Columbia, Canada.
