Wiliam Clark, a Corporation Transport Driver from Manchester, enlisted into the Armed Forces in November 1938 later volunteering for the commandos. Corporal Taylor, No.7 Commando attached to Layforce, was reported missing later confirmed a prisoner of war 20 April 1941 during an operation at Bardia, Cyrenaica, Libya.
