Private Thomas Morgan, Special Service Detachment 2*, was reported missing in Burma, later presumed killed in action aproximately 30 June 1942. He has no known grave. Son of Peter and Catherine Morgan, of Scholes, Wigan, Lancashire.

Notes
*Casualty Lists initially recorded his unit as Special Service Detachment 2. This detachment was formerly known as Middle East Detachment 2 and comprised amongst others of some Commandos from the Middle East. His Unit is later amended on the Casualty Lists to "Commando Training Wing Detachment S.F."  CWGC record has no commando service. Posible photo of Thomas Morgan with rank Cpl in gallery [view....].
