Stanley Swinson 4 Commando
Lance Corporal Stanley Swinson served in the Commandos from December 1940 until January 1946 taking part in many of the No.4 Commando operations including at Dieppe, the advance across North West Europe and Walcheren, Holland.
  • 21st Army Group commendation for outstanding good service and great devotion to duty during the campaign in North West Europe.  
  • Post war member of the Commando Association from Cobridge, Stoke on Trent.
