Gunner Ball from Luton was reported missing 6 December 1942 during operations at Bizerte, Tunisia, later presumed killed in action. He has no known grave. Son of Ernest and Alice Ball; husband of Freda Evelyn Ball, of Luton, Bedfordshire.
Before the war Gunner Ball was employed at Vauxhall Motors in Luton and is remembered on the Vauxhall Motors Ltd War Memorial in Luton.
