Operations:
Roy Butler, a Clerk from Lincolnshire, enlisted 11 November 1938. later volunteering for the commandos. Private Butler, No.6 Commando, was reported missing 6 January 1943, later found to be a prisoner of war. His Commando were engaged in operations in the Djebel Azzag (Sedjenane) area of Tunisia.
